DEEP PURPLE Drummer In The Studio With MOONSTONE: Video Footage Posted Online

Video footage of DEEP PURPLE's Ian Paice at the recording sessions for the new MOONSTONE CD, the project of Italian guitarist Matteo Filippini, has been posted online at this location (MPG, 19.4 MB).

As previously reported, Paice laid down drums tracks for three songs that are set to appear on the CD, the musical direction of which is being described as "genuine British-oriented '70s classic rock," not a million miles removed from the likes of FREE, JIMI HENDRIX and DEEP PURPLE. Among the other musicians that have recorded guest appearances for the project are Glenn Hughes (DEEP PURPLE, BLACK SABBATH),Graham Bonnet (RAINBOW, MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP, ALCATRAZZ, IMPELLITTERI, BLACKTHORNE),Eric Bloom (BLUE ÖYSTER CULT),John Lawton (ex-URIAH HEEP),Tony Franklin (ex-BLUE MURDER, WHITESNAKE),Carmine Appice (OZZY OSBOURNE, BLUE MURDER, VANILLA FUDGE) and Paul Shortino (ROUGH CUTT, QUIET RIOT, HEAVEN & EARTH).
